　　美国多年来一直保留着面签的这一环节，留学生与签证官的交流以及在面试过程中的表现，很大程度上关系到留学生能否拿到签证，而是否能够顺利获得美国留学签证直接影响到你能否去美国留学。

　　据纽约时报最新报道，自美国现任总统上任一年以来，来美国留学的国际生数量明显减少。根据对全美500多所高等院校的调查显示，2017fall确定赴美留学的国际生数量降低7%，45%的学校表示国际生越来越难招。

　　话说川普上台这一年，确实搞出来不少移民政策、签证政策，大大限制了国际生签证的申请或毕业留美就业，也难怪早在川普上台之初，就有一些高等教育专家表示担心川普的会影响国际生招生。

　　据美国国际教育协会Institute of International Education (IIE)最新发布的数据，截止到2016-2017学年，美国国内国际生数量总计大约为108万人，但是单独看2016-2017学年这一年，赴美的国际生新生数量已经下降3%，这导致很多财政收入主要依赖国际生的小型院校陷入困境，毕竟美国每年仅靠国际生就有390亿美元的经济收入。

　　并且，IIE还指出，国际生数量减少的情形在中西部院校尤为显著，根据爱荷华大学报告，今年学校的国际生数量已经从2015年4100人降至3664人，来自中国的学生数量减少最为明显。学校国际项目部的主管表示，这种情况在其他big ten学校也很普遍。

　　不过，除了各种收紧的政策外，美国近一年频繁爆发的枪击案、恐怖袭击等案件也让国际生对赴美留学的安全性倍感担忧，很多家长都很关心“在美国是人人都有枪吗?”
